The facilities & infrastructure to be created in a Smart school.
i) Separate classroom for every section of class as per Pupil Teacher Ratio,  Spacious, airy and well ventilated classroom;
ii) Green board/white board;
iii) Furniture for all students;
iv) Class wise lecture stands for students and teachers;
v) Availability of portable drinking water facility;
vi) Separate adequate number of functional toilets for girls and boys;
vii) Free sanitary napkins to girls;
viii) Well equipped Principal/Head Master room including staffroom;
ix) Well equipped science laboratories, vocational laboratories, ICT laboratories, etc.
x) Well maintained play grounds with the provision of adequate sports facilities (at least 2 games in each school);
xi) Well equipped library with sufficient number of books (atleast 2000 books for primary/middle schools and 5000 books for high and senior secondary schools);
xii) ICT infrastructure like computers, tablets,  LED, digital interactive board, projectors, Wi-Fi internet connectivity;
xiii) Colour Coding;
xiv) Building As Learning Aid (BALA) Work;
xv) Landscaping;
xvi) CCTV cameras;
xvii) Swings / toys, attractive and colourful furniture for pre-primary and primary wing Educational parks;
xviii) Well maintained classrooms, toilets, school campus;
xix) Display of Board of Honours in the school for both staff and students in the school for showcasing achievements of the students and staff;
xx) Sound system and school band;
xxi) Sign boards outside the schools;
xxii) Dining hall/shed for Mid-Day-Meal;
xxiii) Adequate numbers of trees provided spaces is available;
xxiv) Any other as per the need of the school.
