Pre-requisites for making smart school 

Any government schools can opt for converting itself as smart school with following pre-requisites:
a) Enrollment:
Atleast 40 students in Primary School,60 in Middle, 130 in High and250 students in Senior Secondary School.
Note: Schools having maximum strength of students in the district will be given preference.
b) English as a medium of instructions
c) Any school opting to convert as smart school will express its willingness by having a resolution passed by its School Management Committee. A formal communication shall thereafter be made to the Department through online (web-based software prepared by the Department)
