Funding Pattern 

The requirements of funds for developing smart schools will be met by the State and community participation in ratio of 40:60.
Under this scheme, if the school commits to contribute 60% of the total required funds for developing the school into smart school from its different sources including managing funds from NRI/CSR/Community/Local Bodies/MPLAD or any source other than Department of Schools Education. Rest of the funds i.e 40%would be provided by the Department.
It will be ensured that any expenditure on any activity proposed in the School Development Plan will be incurred in the proportion of 40:60. The Department will release matching share after the SMC has managed to get funds from its own sources.
The funds will be provided in the bank account of School Management Committee of the school which will be jointly operated by School Principal and the Chairman of the School Management Committee.
The transfer of funds under this scheme may made in online mode. The Bank Account details of the School Management Committee will be made available on the school website to enable any donor for online transfer of funds.
